If your guess for the best city for nature lovers was Albuquerque, give yourself a pat on the back. The town of roughly half a million people might have been rated TravelNerd's top town because of the seven national parks within 100 miles. Or it could have been because nearly 30 percent of the city is devoted to parks. The air is clean and the landscapes are beautiful, so when the numbers were crunched, Albuquerque was an easy pick for the best city to get away if you want to explore nature.
